  1. Be patient. Fluctuations are normal throughout the day and within others and yourself. You are doing the best you can and progress/ change takes time.
  2. Keep things simple. Don’t do everything at once. There is no rush. Do what you can and what is most important at this point in time.
  3. Experience and live in the moment. Consider what’s at hand rather than nagging past influences or future commitments. Live each day for what it is. Happiness is creating on working towards it in each day and moment, not a goal that can be reached.
  4. Soothe and replenish your spirit. Still your mind and clear it of any thoughts. Rest and unwind. Do something fulfilling for yourself.
  5. Have pride. Be proud of who you are, what you’ve done, and your individuality.
  6. Be happy. Satisfy your urges to feed your heart, mind, spirit. Do things that make you feel good so that you may be content in where you are, who you are, and what you’re doing.
  7. See beauty. There is splendor in everything and everyone. Open your eyes, see it and embrace it.
  8. Be pleasant and optimistic. Be courteous and kind. This will not only make someone else’s day better, but your mood as well.
  9. Try not to prejudge. Stay open to experience and what may be. Open your heart, open your mind, and see what doors open when you exist free of bias and expectation.
  10. Take responsibility. Acknowledge that you are in charge of your life, actions, and effects on others. Rectify any errors and relieve your mind.
  11. Take it easy. Take the time to experience your journey. This time and life is yours and no one else’s.
  12. Fall in love. Fall in love with everyone you meet and everything you do. Embrace the spirit in others and all situations.
